Natalie Jirkovsky of Rice Lake, center, won a .22-caliber rifle when the drawing was made for the Barron County Youth Shooting Sports Foundation raffle. The raffle was held in conjunction with the group's family field day in September., with raffle funds going towards promoting shooting sports for area youths. Jirkovsky served as a mentor at the archery station during the field day. Youth turkey hunters who participated in Barron County's Learn to Hunt turkeys program were very successful this past weekend as 16 out of 21 hunters harvested birds.
